Mörkrets Ljus nyuppförs 2020!
Själamässan Mörkrets Ljus är en hyllning till den lidande och kämpande människan.
Den tillägnas alla som varit intagna vid Cronoby hospital under åren 1631 – 1841. Många av dem slutade sina dagar på hospitalet och fick sin sista vila i någon av de namnlösa gravarna på hospitalskullen. Dessa nådehjon skrev genom sina liv en slags lovsång till livet som tonar än idag.
Många är det som genom åren frågat efter detta verk! Tack vare Ia Rönngård är tiden nu inne att återuppföra detta verk. Nådehjonens sånger talar till människor än idag och budskapet är mer aktuellt än nånsin! Det finns alltför många som lever i ensamhet och vi vill bidra till att sprida ljus i mörkret.
Nykarleby Manskör och Damkören Madrigalen utgör stommen till nyuppsättningens körer och de korister som sjungit med tidigare inbjuds också att medverka.
Det är oss en stor glädje och ynnest att få presentera solisterna i nyuppsättningen! Sopransolist blir som senast Christin Högnabba. Altsolist är Wivan Nygård-Fagerudd, Niall Chorell är tenorsolist och Sören Hakola bassolist. Som konsertmästare har vi den stora äran att ha lyckats engagera Anna-Maria Helsing. Ylva Ekblad är recitatör som tidigare. Verket dirigeras av kompositören Eva-Lott Björklund. Textförfattaren Lolan Björkman tillhör också arbetsgruppen där Ia Rönngård är initiativtagare och producent.
Verket kommer att uppföras två gånger lördagen den 19.9.2020 i Kronoby kyrka. Missa inte detta! Välkomna!
