Aki Rissanen on jo pitkään kuulunut eturivin suomalaisiin jazzpianisteihin. Rissanen keikkailee Oulussa trionsa kanssa viime maaliskuussa julkaistun Amorandom-albuminsa tiimoilta. Amorandom on trion ensimmäinen julkaisu maineikkaalla brittiläisellä levy-yhtiöllä Edition Recordsilla, joka on julkaissut viime vuosina myös mm. Verneri Pohjola Quartetin sekä Oddarrangin tuoreimmat albumit.
Rissasen vetämässä triossa soittavat miehen itsensä lisäksi suomijazzin kärkikomppipari, basisti Antti Lötjönen ja rumpali Teppo Mäkynen. Viisi albumia omalla nimellä aiemmin julkaissut Rissanen tekee Amorandomilla merkittävän kansainvälisen debyyttinsä. Amorandom-levyn musiikin Rissanen sävelsi alunperin Tuula Leinosen ja Antti Peränteen samannimiseen animaatioelokuvaan, mutta musiikki on hioutunut vuosien varrella huippuunsa ja nyt on vuorossa puhtaasti audiomateriaalia sisältävä albumi sekä albumin julkistukseen liittyviä esiintymisiä.
