Metallin ja punkrockin nimeen vannova Cancer Bats saapuu helmikuussa klubikeikalle Suomeen. Kanadalaisyhtye nähdään Helsingin Tavastia-klubilla 21. helmikuuta. Illan lämmittelee käyntiin kotimainen The Heartburns.
Debyyttialbuminsa vuonna 2006 julkaissutta Cancer Batsia tituleerataan Kanadan ahkerimmin keikkailevaksi bändiksi. Laulaja Liam Cormier, kitaristi Scott Middleton, rumpali Mike Peters ja basisti Jaye Schwarzer ovat kiertäneet maailmaa tiukalla keikkatahdilla yli kymmenen vuoden ajan.
Aiemmin tänä vuonna julkaistun ”Searching For Zero” –albumin sanotaan olevan Cancer Batsin kaikkien aikojen kovin levy. Tiukassa livekunnossa oleva bändi on kerännyt ehdokkuuksia mm. Metal Hammer Golden Gods Awards-palkintogaalassa.
Illan avaa kotimainen The Heartburns, jonka kokoonpanossa nähdään mm. ”Pää Kii” –yhteydestäkin tuttu Teemu Bergman.
