Lähes loppuunmyydyn konserttinsa Helsingin Hartwall Arenalla selkävaivojen vuoksi perunut Ennio Morricone on vahvistanut korvaavan esiintymispäivän. Italialainen säveltäjälegenda saapuu Suomeen keskiviikkona 30. marraskuuta. Ennio Morriconen konsertin lipunmyynti on käynnissä Lippupisteessä.
Alkuperäiseen konserttiin ostetut liput käyvät konserttiin sellaisinaan ja samoille paikoille, joten lippuja ei tarvitse vaihtaa uusiin.
Italialainen Ennio Morricone (s. 1928) on 60 vuotta jatkuneella urallaan tehnyt lähtemättömän vaikutuksen elokuvamusiikkiin, ja valtaosa elokuvamaailman ikonisimmista ääniraidoista on Morriconen säveltämiä. Artisti on kirjoittanut musiikkia yhtä lailla varhaisiin spagettiwesterneihin ja palkittuihin art house -elokuviin kuin menestyksekkäisiin kassamagneetteihin. Ennio Morricone on vuosikymmenien saatossa työskennellyt esimerkiksi Sergio Leonen, Oliver Stonen, Terence Malickin, Brian De Palman, Pier Paolo Pasolinin ja Roman Polanskin kaltaisten ohjaajien kanssa.
”The 60 Years of Music World Tour” -juhlakiertueella Ennio Morricone johtaa yli 200-henkistä orkesteria ja kuoroa. Artistin ajankohtainen sävellystyö Quentin Tarantinon ”The Hateful Eight” -elokuvaan palkittiin hiljattain mm. Oscarilla, Golden Globella ja BAFTAlla.
