FLOW давно стал одним из самых заметных и значительных музыкальных событий Европы. Перечислять музыкальные стили и направления, представленные на фестивале не имеет смысла – здесь есть все, даже то, чему пока еще не придумали определений. Ежегодно на FLOW играют как лидеры хит-парадов, так и коллективы, от которых все будут без ума только через год.
Концепция предполагает сочетание мощной музыкальной составляющей и визуальных искусств. Помимо музыки, на фестивале представлены разнообразные формы увлекательного досуга и искусства: художественные выставки, независимое кино, лекции, встречи, вечеринки. Отдельно стоит представить невероятно насыщенную гастрономическую часть фестиваля с едой от лучших ресторанов и кафе Хельсинки.
Фестиваль проходит в районе Сувилахти, в антураже одного из самых монументальных архитектурных объектов Хельсинки - на территории выведенной из эксплуатации ТЭЦ, находящейся всего в 15 минутах ходьбы от центра города.
Традиционно лайн-ап FLOW пополняется вплоть до даты проведения фестиваля.
