Yhden kuluvan vuoden parhaista hiphop-levyistä julkaissut Joey Bada$$ saapuu loppuvuodesta ensimmäiselle klubikeikalleen Suomeen. Tämän kesän Provinssissa ja viime vuoden Flow’ssa vieraillut yhdysvaltalaisräppäri nousee Tavastian lavalle perjantai-iltana 4. joulukuuta. Konsertin liput tulevat myyntiin Tiketissä tämän viikon perjantaina.
Brooklynista saapuva Joey Bada$$ tunnetaan soundistaan, jossa 90-luvun klassinen hiphop-tuotanto kohtaa modernin rapin parhaat puolet. Pro Era -kollektiivin perustajakin tunnettu artisti julkaisi ensimmäisen mixtapensa ”1999” kesällä 2012, jonka perään Joey Bada$$:lta on ilmestynyt lukuisia muitakin mixtapeja.
20-vuotiaan hiphop-artistin kauan odotettu debyyttialbumi ”B4.DA.$$” julkaistiin tämän vuoden tammikuussa. Yhdysvaltojen Billboard-listan sijalle viisi ja hiphop-listan ykköseksi nousseen levyn tuotannosta vastaa muun muassa DJ Premier, jonka cv:stä löytyy Nas:in, Jay-Z:n ja Snoop Dogg;in kaltaisia artisteja.
Illan avaa CJ Fly, Kirk Knight, and Nyck Caution.
