Norjan lupaavin indiepop-yhtye Kid Astray soittaa ensimmäisen Suomen-keikkansa Helsingissä LeBonkissa perjantaina 24. huhtikuuta. Illan toisena bändinä nähdään hiljattain esikoisalbuminsa julkaissut kotimainen indie-tulokas Constables. Konsertin ennakkoliput ovat nyt myynnissä Tiketissä.
Tanssittavaa ja kesäistä indie-musiikkia Phoenixin ja Passion Pitin tapaan soittava Kid Astray on Oslossa vuonna 2010 perustettu yhtye. Kuusikko on maanmiestensä Kakkmaddafakkan tavoin kiertänyt jo ahkerasti ympäri Eurooppaa, ja ajankohtaisen ”Home Before the Dark” -albumin kiertue tuo yhtyeen nyt myös Suomeen.
Kid Astrayn maaliskuun puolivälissä ilmestyneen debyyttialbumin taustajoukoissa vaikuttivat esimerkiksi Peter, Björn & John -yhtyeen Peter Morén sekä The Wombatsista tuttu Tord Øverland Knutsen. ”Home Before the Dark” -levyn julkaisi Cosmos Music, jonka katalogiin kuuluu myös Say Lou Loun ja keväällä Suomeen saapuvan Karin Parkin kaltaisia nimiä.
