Lauantainen Muusaklubi tarjoaa upean konsertin, kun esiintymään saapuu nousukiidossa oleva oululainen yhtye Valkea!
Valkea on suurieleistä indiemusiikkia ja vaihtoehtorockia soittava yhtye, jonka toinen albumi Vedenjakaja julkaistiin toukokuussa 2025. Teema-albumi kuvaa hetkiä, jotka muuttivat kaiken. Keskiössä ovat ihmisen suhde veteen sekä elokuvamaiset kohtaukset ihmiskuntaa ja yksilöä ravistelevista kriiseistä. Yhtyeen musiikkia onkin kutsuttu myös ilmastorockiksi sen usein ilmastonmuutosta käsittelevien tekstien vuoksi.
Vahvat melodiat ja huolella suunnitellut äänimaailmat luovat selkeän punaisen langan eri vaikutteiden keskelle: Valkea flirttailee luontevasti ja häpeilemättä muun muassa post-rockin, metallin ja konemusiikin kanssa. Viisihenkinen bändi hyödyntää reilusti elektronisia soittimia, ja isoimmilla keikoilla sekä albumeilla mukana on myös nelihenkinen puhallinsektio. Yhtyeen debyyttialbumi julkaistiin vuonna 2023, minkä myötä Valkea on noussut isoille festarilavoille, YleX Nosteessa-ohjelman artistiksi, valtakunnallisille radiokanaville sekä Spotifyn keskeisille soittolistoille.
