Ison-Britannian suurimpiin yhtyeisiin lukeutuva Muse lähtee ensi vuonna laajamittaiselle Drones-maailmankiertueelle ja saapuu myös Suomeen kesällä. Vastikään listaykköseksi singahtaneen ”Drones”-albuminsa julkaissut Muse esiintyy Helsingin Hartwall Arenalla tiistaina 14. kesäkuuta. Drones-kiertueella yleisö pääsee harvinaislaatuisen lähelle yhtyettä, kun lava sijoittuu areenan keskelle ja fanit pääsevät sen ympärille.
Muse tunnetaan rajojen rikkojana lavatuotantojensa osalta ja Drones World Tour ei tule olemaan tästä poikkeus. Lava-design ja -asettelu antaa faneille mahdollisuuden todelliseen 360 asteen audio-visuaaliseen kokemukseen, kun yhtye esiintyy ensimmäistä kertaa keskellä areenan kenttää. “Lava ulottuu koko areenan pituuteen”, kertoi Production Designer Oli Metcalfe viime viikolla NME-lehdelle. ”Se on melko kapea, mutta mikä on yleisön kannalta tärkeintä, se on matala, joten bändi soittaa intiimissä tilassa lähellä yleisöä.”
Musen nokkamies Matt Bellamy on kuvaillut kiertuetta BBC:lle ”heidän versiokseen Pink Floydin The Wallista”.

Vuonna 1994 perustettu Muse on julkaissut seitsemän studioalbumia, jotka ovat myyneet yli 17 miljoonaa kappaletta maailmanlaajuisesti. ”Drones”, yhtyeen seitsemäs albumi, nousi Iso-Britannian albumilistan ykköseksi kesäkuussa ja piti paikkaansa ykköspaikalla kaksi viikkoa. Samaan aikaan yhtye nousi listakärkeen myös Yhdysvalloissa, ensimmäistä kertaa yhtyeen historiassa. Albumi nousi ykköseksi yhteensä 23 maassa, mukaan lukien Suomessa, Ranskassa, Japanissa, Australiassa, Alankomaissa ja Sveitsissä.
