Jokainen meistä on ollut nuorena nolo. Kaikkein noloimmat meistä eivät koskaan voi unohtaa nolouttaan, sillä he kirjoittivat päiväkirjaa, eivätkä tajunneet hävittää sitä ennen kuin sille kertyi tunnearvoa. Korjaamon Päiväkirjaklubilla nämä nyt jo aikuisiksi varttuneet itsetietoiset murheenkryynit jakavat nolot kirjoituksensa yleisölle. Merkinnät ensirakkauksista, vanhemmista ja nuoruuden ahdistuksista ovat paitsi liikuttavia ja traagisia myös käsittämättömän hauskoja, kun ne kuulee entisen nuoren lukemana.
Päiväkirjaklubi on myötähäpeää, naurua ja ennen kaikkea tunnistettavia tunteita siltä ajalta, kun kuvittelit, että olet ajatuksiesi kanssa täysin yksin – mutta kyllä me olimme kaikki siellä. Klubilla luetaan paitsi päiväkirjamerkintöjä myös rakkauskirjeitä ja kouluaineita. Mitä nolompaa, sen parempi.
Maailmalla suosiota niittänyt Päiväkirjaklubi on saanut innoituksensa amerikkalaisesta Mortified Nation-ilmiöstä. Klubin toivat Helsinkiin konkarikoomikko Risto Koo Järvinen, joka on (valitettavasti) kirjoittanut päiväkirjoja koko ikänsä ja teatterituottaja/improvisaatioteatterinäyttelijä Eeva Vekki. Esiintyjät vaihtelevat iltakohtaisesti.
