Kymmenettä juhlavuottaan viettävä Pitkä kuuma kesä -tapahtumasarja tarjoaa tulevanakin kesänä lukuisia ilmaiskonsertteja ympäri Helsinkiä. Ensimmäisenä julkistusvuorossa on Mbarin terassin klubisarja, jossa nähdään toukokuusta elokuuhun ulkomaisia artistivieraita
Avausiltana 20. toukokuuta lavalle nousee ruotsalainen laulaja-lauluntekijä Andreas Moe, joka on Bon Iveriin verratun oman folk/indie-uransa ohella vieraillut Aviciin, Tiëston ja Hardwellin kaltaisten EDM-tähtien biiseillä.
Futuristisesta soulista, elektronisesta musiikista ja indiepopista innoitusta hakeva yhdysvaltalainen Daniel Wilson tekee ensivisiittinsä Suomeen 17. kesäkuuta. Miehen ”Killed Ya” -hittisingleä on kuunneltu Spotifyssa jo yli kaksi miljoonaa kertaa.
Alkuvuodesta Korjaamolla vieraillut Sea Change on norjalaisen Ellen A. W. Sundesin alter ego, joka soittaa aavemaista synthpopia ja loopien pohjalle rakentuvaa elektronista musiikkia. Artistin tuotantoa on verrattu erityisesti pohjoismaisiin kollegoihinsa Lykke Lihin, Robyniin ja Fever Rayhin. Sea Change nähdään Mbarissa 15. heinäkuuta.
Tapahtumasarjan päättää 19. elokuuta tanskalainen Felix De Luca, jota on kutsuttu Pohjoismaiden lupaavimmaksi hiphop-kyvyksi. Miehen viimeisin julkaisu on viime vuoden lopulla ilmestynyt ”A.R.T.”-ep.
