Pyhän Henrikin ekumeeninen taidekappeli täytty heleistä ja hehkuvista kamarimusiikin helmistä, kun islantilainen pianisti Herdís Ágústa Linnet sekä suomalainen sellisti Elis Hakola nousevat lavalle esittämään Helvi Leiviskän, Jórunn Viðarin, Jón Nordalin ja Leevi Madetojan sello- ja pianomusiikkiteoksia.
Tukholman kuninkaallisessa musiikkikorkeakoulussa opiskeleva Elis ja samasta oppilaitoksesta maisteriksi valmistunut Herdís kohtasivat opintojensa aikana ja ovat soittaneet sekä yhdessä että erikseen solisteina ja monenlaisissa kamarimusiikkikokoonpanoissa. Nyt he ovat yhteistuumin koonneet ohjelmiston pohjoismaalaisista vähemmän tunnetuista, vaikkakin erittäin tunteellisista ja kauniista teoksista sellolle ja pianolle.
Kaksikko on erityisen inspiroitunut pohjoismaalaisen historiamme unohdetuista ja silti niin vahvoista, määrätietoisista ja taidokkaista säveltäjistä, jotka osaamisellaan ja intohimollaan saivat aikaan suuria teoksia ja edistysaskeleita taidemusiikin alalla.
