Helsinkiläisyhtye Santa Cruz on viettänyt viime kuukaudet kiertäen ahkerasti Pohjoismaita, mutta alkuvuodesta on luvassa myös laaja Suomen kiertue. Riehakasta rockia soittava yhtye kiertää Suomen kaupunkeja tammi- ja helmikuun aikana. Kotimaan keikkojen jälkeen bändi suuntaa Eurooppaan ja Iso-Britanniaan yhteiskiertueelle Reckless Loven kanssa.
Keväällä kakkosalbuminsa julkaissut Santa Cruz on kiertänyt lokakuusta alkaen Ruotsia, Norjaa ja Tanskaa Mustaschin matkassa, ja kiertue jatkuu jouluun saakka. Syys-lokakuun vaihteessa yhtye piipahti esiintymässä myös Motörboat-risteilyllä Karibialla mm. Motörheadin kanssa. Kesällä Santa Cruz vuorostaan esiintyi 55 000 -päiselle yleisölle Hämeenlinnassa AC/DC:n lämmittelijänä. Tämän vuoden saldoksi yhtyeellä kertyykin yhteensä noin 140 keikkaa Suomessa ja ulkomailla.
Skid Row’n ja Guns’n’Rosesin innoittamana vuonna 2007 perustettu Santa Cruz on noussut pikavauhtia Suomen rockbändien kiinnostavimpaan kärkeen. Bändin ”We Are The Ones To Fall” -single lukeutui viime vuonna Radio Rockin soitetuimpiin kun taas tämän vuoden soitetuin kappale Radio Rockilla on ollut yhtyeen toinen sinkkulohkaisu ”Wasted & Wounded”. Santa Cruz on julkaissut kaksi albumia, joista viimeisin, ”Santa Cruz”, julkaistiin kevällä.
