Suomen suurin indie-yhtye Satellite Stories julkaisee keväällä odotetun neljännen albuminsa ja juhlistaa sen julkaisua Helsingin Kuudennella Linjalla. Julkkarikeikka on yhtyeen ainoa esiintyminen Suomessa ennen kesää 2017. Kapasiteetti on hyvin rajallinen, joten suosittelemme ostamaan liput heti.
Universal Music Groupille kiinnitetyn Satellite Storiesin uusi albumi tulee olemaan ensimmäinen julkaisu isolla levy-yhtiöllä ja sen odotetaan jatkavan yhtyeen nousukiitoa Suomessa ja ulkomailla.
“Satellite Stories on viileintä, kauneinta ja vientipotentiaalisinta musiikkia Suomesta pitkään aikaan. Kundit ovat tehneet erinomaista, omaehtoista musaa jo tovin ja on hienoa päästä tekemään yhteistyötä heidän kanssaan. Me Universal Musicilla haluamme laittaa itsemme likoon siinä, että yhtye nousisi sille kuuluisalle nextille levelille niin Suomessa kuin muuallakin maailmassa”, Universal Musicin toimitusjohtaja Kimmo Valtanen kertoo.
”Miracle on meidän näkemys nykyaikaisesta bändimusasta. Biisi syntyi New Yorkin esiintymisten ja siellä nähtyjen indieartistien ja klubiskenen vaikutuksesta. Haluttiin, että kappale on rento ja bändimäinen, mutta kuitenkin tanssittava. Ensimmäisestä versiosta asti oli selvää, että julkaistaan juuri tälläinen biisi, ja annetaan kuulijoille esimakua uuden levyn genrerajat ylittävästä soundista”, kertoo yhtyeen laulaja Esa Mankinen uuden singlestä.
Oululainen Satellite Stories on aikaisemmin julkaissut kolme albumia, jotka ovat keränneet yhteensä yli 21 miljoonaa streamia Spotifyssa. Suomen lisäksi yhtye on esiintynyt loppuunmyydyille areenoille mm. Amsterdamissa, Barcelonassa, Berliinissä, Lontoossa, New Yorkissa ja Tokiossa.
