Seinabo Seyn esikoissinglet ”Younger” sekä ”Hard Time” sinkosivat nuoren artistin musiikkimaailman tietoisuuteen. Urbaania energiaa huokuvaa 24-vuotiasta Seynabo Seytä pidetään Ruotsin seuraavana maailmanlaajuisena artistibreikkauksena. Laulajalupauksen debyyttialbumi ”Pretend” julkaistiin viime viikolla.
Edellisen kerran suomalaisyleisö sai nauttia Seinabo Seyn vangitsevasta äänestä Tavastia-klubilla huhtikuussa 2015. Pohjoismaiden ja Euroopan lisäksi myös Yhdysvalloissa ahkerasti keikkaillut Seinabo Sey on noteerattu maineikkaissa musiikkimedioissa ja blogeissa ympäri maailman.
