Latvialainen Peteris Vasks julistaa vaikuttavilla teoksillaan inhimillisen henkisyyden voittoa Neuvostoliiton diktatuurista. Ensi kertaa Suomessa soiva uusin jousikvartertto on säveltäjänsä mukaan saarnaa ja ravintoa sielulle. Antti Myllyojan uusi jousikvartetto soi kromaattista harmoniaa, jonka ekspressiivinen ilmaisu kuvastaa ihmismielen kompleksisuutta ja värikkyyttä.
