SILVANA IMAM ENSIMMÄISELLE KLUBIKEIKALLEEN HELSINKIIN
La 5.12.2015 Helsinki, Kuudes Linja + Sofa
Ruotsin tämän hetken kohutuin hiphop-artisti Silvana Imam saapuu ensimmäiselle omalle keikalleen Suomeen. Alkukesän Sideways-festivaaleilla vieraillut feministiräppäri esiintyy Helsingin Kuudennella Linjalla itsenäisyyspäivän aattona lauantaina 5. joulukuuta. Konsertin liput ovat nyt myynnissä Tiketissä. Illan avaa kovassa nosteessa oleva kotimainen räppiduo Sofa.
Ruotsissa viime vuosien näkyvin kulttuuri-ilmiö on ollut vahvojen naisartistien esiinmarssi. Kaikkein suurinta huomiota on kerännyt tasa-arvoa ja vähemmistöjen oikeuksia ajava Silvana Imam, joka räppää samassa säkeessä sujuvasti lesboudesta, feminismistä ja islamista. ”Queer feminist rapperiksi” nimetty Silvana Imam esiintyy lavalla kommandopipo päässään, nyrkki ilmaan kohotettuna.
Syyrialaisia ja liettualaisia sukujuuria omaava Silvana Imam on toistaiseksi julkaissut ”Rekviem”-pitkäsoiton (2013) lisäksi kaksi ep-levyä, joista viimeisin on EDM-supertähti Sebastian Ingrosson pyörittämän Refune Recordsin kautta huhtikuussa ilmestynyt ”Jag Dör För Dig”.
