Psychobillyn kuninkaat saapuvat Suomeen.
The Meteors ei esittelyjä kaipaa, mutta esitellään nyt hieman kuitenkin.
Peter Paul Fenechin Lontoossa 1980 perustama trio keksi kokonaisen uuden musiikkityylin, jota ryhdyttiin kutsumaan psychobillyksi.
Bändi saavutti nopeasti ympäri maailmaa fanaattisen kuulijakunnan, jonka mielilausahdus oli "Only The Meteors are Pure Psychobilly".
35 vuotta ja 25 albumia myöhemmin bändi saapuu Suomeen Jyväskylän Lutakko liekeissä-festivaalille ja Virgin Oiliin elokuun lopussa.
Milanossa nykyisin asuvalla Peter Paul Fenechillä, 54, on mukanaan rummuissa Meteorsin toiseksi pitkäikäisin jäsen Wolfgang Hördemann ja kokoonpanon täydentää pystybasisti Hendrik Szech.
Lauteet psykobilly-legendalle lämmittää Nicky Rothén & Zack'o -duo.
Elokuista täysikuun iltaa tuskin voi paremmin viettää kuin töyhtö pystyssä näiden "ihmissusien" seurassa!!!
