Hurjassa nosteessa oleva feministiräppäri Tommy Genesis saapuu ensimmäistä kertaa Suomeen. Provokatiivisista ja suorasanaisista lyriikoistaan tunnettu kanadalaisartisti nousee Kuudennen Linjan lavalle tiistaina 25. lokakuuta eli juuri ennen esiintymistään Pariisin Pitchfork-festivaaleilla.
Kanadan Vancouverista saapuvan Tommy Genesisin ”World Vision” -levysarjan ensimmäinen osa julkaistiin kesällä 2015, ja trilogiaksi täydentyvän saagan seuraavan albumin on ilmoitettu ilmestyvän lähitulevaisuudessa. Levyä pohjustaa hiljattain julkaistu ”They Cum They Go” -single.
Awful Recordsin talliin kiinnitetty ja avoimesti biseksuaali Tommy Genesis kuvailee itse tuotantoaan termillä ”fetish rap”. Internet rap -ilmiöksi nousseen artistin räppäystä on verrattu Angel Hazeen, anime-vaikutteista tyyliä Harajuku Girls -kollektiiviin ja musiikkia Odd Futuren tuotantoon.
Illan avaavat kotimaisen mimmiräpin kärkinimet Rauhatäti & MC Pyhä Lehmä sekä Mercedes Bentso. Levymusiikista vastaa niin ikään kovassa nosteessa oleva DJ Kasumisu.
