Musiikkia kahdelle pianolle
Leena Tammisto & Angela Saarinen
Salolainen pianoduo Angela Saarinen ja Leena Tammisto on esiintynyt vuodesta 2014. Pianoduonohjelmisto sisältää teoksia vanhasta musiikista 1900-luvun sävellyksiin, joista osa on sävelletty yhdelle jaosa kahdelle pianolle.
Wiurilan konsertissa la 11.5.2019 kuullaan kaksi laajaa eri tyylistä teosta D. Sostakovitsilta ja C.Guastavinolta sekä F. Mendelssohnin sävellys yhdelle pianolle nelikätisesti.
Nuoren venäläisen säveltäjän Sostakovitsin romanttisia piirteitä sisältävästä
neliosaisesta teoksesta Suite op. 6 kahdelle pianolle löytyy synkkyyden keskeltä valon pilkahduksia. Argentiinalaisen Guastavinon kolmiosainen sävellys Tres RomancesArgentinos on karakteeriltaan romanttinen sekä menevän rytmikäs. Konsertissa viimeisenä kuultava teosMendelssohnin Andante & Allegro Brilliante op. 92 on romantiikan aikakaudella sävelletty laulaviamelodioita, kauniita harmonioita ja kepeitä juoksutuksia sisältävä teos.
Wiurilan juhlasali luo konsertille upeat puitteet, jossa kahden flyygelin äänimaailmat kohtaavat. Kahdenpianon konsertit ovat melko harvinaisia ja haluammekin tarjota kotikaupunkimme asukkaillemahdollisuuden tällaiseen elämykseen.
